Transforming Carbon Dioxide into High Quality
Carbon-Neutral
Fuels and Lubricants
RECYCLING CARBON DIOXIDE
Our electrochemical system produces carbon-neutral products which enable the continued use of internal combustion engines using existing distribution and storage infrastructure.

The inputs to our process are carbon dioxide, water and renewable electricity.

Inside each electrolyser there are two electrodes. At one electrode, the carbon dioxide gas binds to the surface of the electrode where it is converted to ethylene (C2H4) in a complex electrochemical process involving water and electrons from the power source. The ethylene gas is released from the electrode surface and carried out of the electrolyser. Oxygen gas is released at the other electrode.
The ethylene is separated and converted in to synthetic replacements for products that are currently made from petroleum. This process gives excellent control over the chemical composition of the products, which can include fuel gas, gasoline, aviation turbine fuel, diesel, lubricants and polymers.
